I have always had good luck with CCI primers. Have fired 100’s of thousands of them. Never a single bad one. PieceEdge’s shipping quick as always. Wish I had shopped around though. Their primers 5$ more a box (1k) than another place I go to. Even though PieceEdge dropped the hazmat fee of 20$ with my order I lost 55$ from their high price. My fault for not checking around. All I saw was no Hazmat and jumped on it. So while I do recommend CCI Primers I will buy them from PieceEdge again on a BIG sale.

I put these in some 6.5×50 Japanese brass that PPU made that I got from PieceEdge. Some Nosler RDF BTHP 140 grain(also from PieceEdge) with around 35 grains h4350. Work like a charm and Go bang every time.

I use CCI primers exclusively for all my rifle priming needs. The silver color helps differentiate them from my pistol primers which are exclusively Winchester (for their copper/brass/gold color) to make sure I don’t mistake the pistol primers for the rifle primers. Always good performance with both brands and I buy them from PieceEdge.

I have been using CCI primers- pistol and rifle- since the dark ages, it seems. Always work as supposed to and never a big surprise. I don’t remember a time that I had a misfire that was the primers fault which is something I cannot say about some others, which I will not name. I cannot tell you anything that persons more experienced than I have not said for decades. Won’t go wrong with CCI.
