  No, not from 9mm, for majority of reloaders there are four different primer types that you may use SM, LP, SR and LR.

Ive received mixed answers about which primer to use for 45acp, small or large primer. How do I know for sure?

  The simple answer is to check your brass some brass like plaza use small primers but most use large primers. They are Not interchangable
